If you bounced the boxed the start/shutdown/restart method you may have hosed the box. I have in the past while attempting to bounce boxes via Terminal Services only shutdown a box from the command line with Terminal Services.

Subject: [FW-1] Problems with Radius authentication

Hi,

We use SecureRemote and Radius authentication, and it worked fine. CheckPoint FW-1 NG is installed on Windows 2000 sp3.

But when I had connected last time, I used Terminal Sevices to restart windows server running Internet Authentication Service. When restart procedure beggins I had disconnect from VPN. When I tried to connect again after some time, SecureClient gives me this: "Negotation with firewall at site xyz has failed. Failed to generate RADIUS auth request"

Any ideas ?
