I have successfully done what you're describing. The Wireless NIC shouldn't have a
problem with the encrypted traffic unless WEP is enabled. That's a gotcha. Make sure
they've disabled WEP on the AP and the NIC/Laptop. If the SR icon isn't flashing it
sounds like key exchang, etc took place successfully. I suspect WEP is the issue
here. Let me know how it works out.

Hi guru,

Have you tried establishing Remote Access VPN with a
remote machine using Wireless LAN NIC and SR? A
client has reported that the remote machine can log in
to firewall/VPN gateway. However, it seems the
Wireless LAN NIC does not know how to handle the
encrypted traffic...

The firewall administrator can see a log in the
LogViewer that the user has been authenticated...
However, the remote user cannot access the internal
resource, and even cannot telnet to internal server
which is working perfectly when using a Ethernet NIC
connecting to the broadband router. The SR icon is
not flashing.

Any ides,

nick
