I’ve never got the upgrade from 4.1 to FP3 to work.  The best route I have found is.   Upgrade IPSO to 3.5 FCS10.  This supports both 4.1 and NG. In case you have to roll back.   Make sure 4.1 is at least sp5a or sp6.   Run the Nokia upgrade (complete bundle) to FP2.  Straight forward.  Use the console cable or you’ll be in trouble.  Nokia have a document on this.   Finally run the FP3 upgrade.   Done this many a time and works each time.  Do not remove any old versions of NG.   A few things to be careful if you are using the SMTP security server on 4.1.  In NG the settings are now in the firewall object.  These revert back to the default after an upgrade and over-ride any previous settings made in the cpconfig program.   This should get you going.  At worst you can always roll back.   Mark     -----Original Message----- From: Mehta, Phoram [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]] Sent: 09 October 2002 17:47 To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [FW-1] upgrade to fp3   Does anybody have a step-by-step procedure (with common problems and tweaks) to upgrade FW-4.1 to FP3 on IPSO3.4.1-fcs10.
