Do you install any patch in your Checkpoint FW? or What is the current version with patch you used?

Since the connection was established OK. So I think this is not the configuration problem.

Maybe you can check the version of the PIX FW, and search in cisco web site for finding any VPN bugs exists in your version.

I suggest you upgrade both FW to the lastest version. As I remember, the lastest PIX version are 614 and 622.

Subject: [FW-1] VPN & Cisco PIX

Hi everybody!
I've recently set up a VPN between my Firewall (Firewall1 4.1) and a Cisco PIX. All works perfectly, but sometimes (nearby every 4-5 hours) the tunnel becomes "unavailable". As a fact, I don't see anything of irregular in my log-file, and after a couple of minutes (or after I stop and start FW1) everything works perfedtelly again...
Any ideas ?
Thanx in advance

L.
