Don't forget to have a policy server license using office mode. As far as I
know from Checkpoint, this is needed.

One last thing to make sure you didn't miss. The addresses that are handed
out by the DHCP server can't be of a network in you encryption domain. You
might try the config without the DHCP server first.

Point taken. RTFM. I see nothing new in the VPN or FW-1 PDF docs.
HOWEVER, the release notes have several caveats, some of which are issues I
need to address...

So, from now on, I'll read those CheckPoint Release Notes first!

THANKS!

check the documentation,. cant remember if it was the VPN guide, there are
some explicit steps to get DHCP working with secure clients......, the guide
is in the checkpoint user center

Do you have a valid license for SecureClient installed on the firewall?

It won't work without one, and it's not stated too clear that a such

license is needed for getting Office Mode working.

Has anyone made Office Mode VPNs work correctly?

I have the following:

Nokia IP 530
IPSO 3.5.7
CheckPoint NG FP2

I can successfully establish a VPN using SecureClient and
communication works fine. The problem is that the VPN client
never receives an IP address from my internal DHCP server, in
spite of the fact that I've configured Office Mode to point
to a DHCP server in the firewall object's Remote Access properties.

TIA!! ANY THOUGHTS are appreciated!!!
