Hi,

I'm running FW-1 FP2 on Solaris 8 64bit.

Recently my fwm daemon became so large (300MB) that there wasn't enough
memory to spawn another process in order to install a new ruleset:

fwm_exec_command: failed to fork not enough space

So I looked around and decided the best thing to do was:

#fwm kill fwm
#fwm &

And that worked fine, but now I have a new problem:

Can't load due to SIC failure

I've read through the fwstart script and noticed there is an environment
variable MSP_SOMEIP_ADDR that is checked prior to starting fwm and if it's
there then fwm is started differently, if not it's started simply with
#fwm & like I did.

Any help towards staring fwm properly, or fixing the SIC problem without
bringing down the firewall would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Curtis.
