may sound odd, but I would check the settings on the NICs and the switches in
between everything to make sure that you are not on Auto anywhere. I had a
similar problem where traffic would for a random amount of time and at random
times. All because I have Auto-negotiate on.
Hi,
I have firewall module(NG FP1, solaris)
which is managed by the central management module(NG FP1, WinNT). I have also
installed the websense on the firewall module and it also configured for next
proxy server (microsoft next proxy).
The users are configured for user authentication
at the firewall for browsing. But at random times the browsing completely
stops for all the users and if I re-install the policy from the
management module everything works fine.
Even though the browsing stops for all the
users it still continues for some machines which are hide mode
NATed. For example, I can still continue browsing from the proxy machine
which is NATed.
Would really appreciate your inputs for any
troubleshooting areas!!!!!!
