Hi Rosa How about bringing up another box and let them run in parallell for a while ?? The new box could be installed with the version you like, and you could run that of an eval license (about � 50,- or so) until you can move your current license.   The internal interface on your current FW box would have to change, but either way you have to restart. then you would still be able to get mail (if you host a mail server) from networks that are using cached DNS settings.
