Hi, I have problem in running fw logexport commnad. let me give brief on my scenario of my network.
All CPFW1 4.1 logs are stored on centralized Sun server on a daily basis. I have a local server installed with NG on Linux system. We are using swatch command to export the logs on daily basis to conteralized server. It stores in 28.10.2002-:00:34:00.log.gz format. I am able to copy the GZ format file to my linux server and gunzip the same. But its in proprietary format so I run fw logexport command on the same.! when i give log export command with -i as the proprietary format file and -o (output) file as test.log or text.txt ...it gives error and says "aborting" and come out to prompt. What do you guys think the problem is? i tried with many .gz files..but not successful. I need text format file to run some local scripts which are in perl.
