Hi All,
I am testing ClusterXL and SecurePlatform FP3 in NEW CPHA mode.
I nearly followed manual architecture (just changed some IP Networks)
and all is *not* working fine :
- Test Architecture:
Cluster IP-ext : 192.168.254.1
IP-int : 192.168.3.1
Member_A : IP-ext : 172.20.100.1
: IP-int : 172.20.200.1
: IP-sec : 10.10.10.10
Member_B : IP-ext : 172.20.100.2
: IP-int : 172.20.200.2
: IP-sec : 10.10.10.20
Mnmgt-srv: IP-sec : 10.10.10.30
- It switches when a Cluster cable from "local network" is unplugged,
- It switches when I stop FW by cpstop.
But,
- It does not switch when I unplug a Cluster cable from "External
Network".
- It does not switch when I make a "hardware" shutdown.
All Information in Status Tracker are Ok : ClusterXL detects in each
cases a failure. My problem is just that the second Member does not
always take over.
To test whether the Cluster goes on or not, I am only sending "pings" to
the cluster ext-IP.
Does anybody have an idea? Is that a matter of Hardware compatibility (I
am using 2 Dlink DFE-570) or did somebody face the same problem?
