I've used Cricket at several client sites with much success, but not for
Nokia. The install docs are fairly straight forward, although Cricket has
many dependencies (Apache, various Perl modules, RRD). It works great, is
very scalable and extensible and the maillist is pretty helpful.

Subject: [FW-1] Using Cricket to monitor Nokia system performance

I have about 40 Nokia boxes. I have been looking for
a tool to track and trend system performance (e.g.,
cpu, memory, connections, etc.). What are people
doing for Nokia system performance monitoring and
trending? Any suggestion is appricated.

I found a white paper in Nokia's Knowledgebase. The
title of the white paper is "Using Cricket to Monitor
Nokia Network Security Platforms." Anyone using
Cricket? Any comments on the installation and
implemetation? Appricate any feedback on this.

Yim
