Hi,
indeed, in FP3 generic* is a reserved word.
You can define the user generic* by creating an "External User Profile"
- "Match all Users" in the User-Manager. In this profile you select
RADIUS for Authentication and install the database as usual.
Hope it helps,
best regards,
Matthias

I am trying to create a generic* user for radius authenication, when I enter
"generic*" as the name in the new user field, the SmartDashboard is
reporting "generic*" is a reserved name.
"generic*" works in FP2.
Any idea why it doesn't work in FP3? What are the alternatives?
Cheers
Anand
