It sounds like there is a routing problem where the other end doesn't know
how to get to your end.

I'd bet you can't ping your end from the remote end?

Check your routing tables.

If you can provide more information about the network I might can help more.

Hi List,

I have following problem...

0) Ping or trace Specific IP
1) Telnet to a IP -> Response is 100% success

2) New session
3) Telnet without having done Ping or Trace -> 100% failure.

Im faced with this problem and dont know what to do.

Have anybody seen this before, when pinging and then telnet its ok, but not
doing Ping before fails the telnet session.

Thanks in advance.
