I have an NG FP2 management station running on Windows
Server 2000. When I try to start up any of the GUI tools
on the machine, after I supply my FW-1 admin account password,
they report back "Can't connect to server; make sure server
'dfm' is running." ('dfm' is the name of the management server
that I'm trying to run the tools on.)
This was working fine until I tried to use 'fwm dbexport'
(and, of course, 'fwm dbimport') to correct the expiry dates
of a couple of critical user accounts.
Am I correct in believing that these accounts will continue
to be seen as "expired" on the enforcement module until I can
get the management station working and push (or pull) a policy
update? If so, then it is fairly urgent that I get this fixed!
