I am
trying to get the account module to work with AD and this is
completely new to me. I have a printout from checkpoint which discusses
how to do it. Unfortunately, I am running a stand alone VIG and the
instructions cover the scenario where you have a management station as a
part of your network and all the needed LDAP info is on that management
station as well. Can someone be kind enough to outline steps that are
needed or give some kind of direction. The VIG is not part of my network,
so I am trying to pull LDAP information from my main network. The handout
I have states I should do the following:
1)
Create separate domain for FW
2)
Install certificate services
3)
create CA
4) Create a LDAP Account unit
etc...
I
could go into more detail in the steps above, but I am hoping someone is
familiar enough to get the general idea.
