Is it possible to take the fw-1 load balancing feature to serve two Notes-Server for smtp traffic ? We thought of the round-trip-time method for this. Is this working ? Is the fw-1 Software measureing the round-trip-time through the application protocoll (smtp), or does the fw-1 takes icmp echos for that. Our client will receive the email on the running Notes server if the other one is down. What is the normal solution for this problem ? The email is filtered by the fw-1 therefore MX-records will not work. Thanks, all. // pallas GmbH ............. Frank Post ........................
