Hi,
I have FW one 4.1 sp1 & VPN installed on a Solaris 2.6.
We use SecureClient (the last version). I can access, with SecureClient, a
Private WEB server on our network, from the Internet, using the private IP
address. This address is not routable (192.168.X.Y). We can also access
our Private DNS (192.168.X.Z).
In a doc I found on checkpoint doc site, it's say we can create a dnsinfo.C
file in /etc/fw/conf, so we can use the same HOST NAME in Internet Explorer,
like we are on our network.
We use this URL : www.intranet, on our network, and we want an external
user, using SercureClient, use the same URL address. I know that if I
modified the hosts file of the PC of the user, we can map www.intranet to
the IP address. But if the IP change, this will not work.
With the dnsinfo.C, it's say we don't anymore the add hosts names of private
hosts in the files "hosts". SecureClient suppose to use the internal DNS to
resolv hosts names, but we cannot make think happen here.
What wrong with my file?
In the file, the IP : 192.168.X.W is the wins server...
