Actually, there were two problems with my license. The first was the lower-case
'ck' on the CertKey instead of upper case; the second was the lack of an
expiration date (I had to insert 'never' right before the license string).
Fixed both of those problems, but a new one has emerged. I license my
firewalls/management workstations by hostid and previously have not had a
problem. This time, however, fw putlic converted my hostids into IP addresses
by taking each pair of digits in the hostid and converting them from hex to
decimal!!! I've re-opened my trouble ticket with Check Point. Sigh.......

The message appears if you use a lower case "ck" instead of and uppercase
"CK" before the cert key. I called CP support and confirmed with them that
although the message is harmless, it is annoying. I reinstalled my license
with a "CK" and the -o option just to be sure.

I got this aswell when I wrote the CK-<numbers> in the license with ck
instead of CK. When I changed it it'd work! cp.macro is the file that knows
what product the CK value permits you to run.

Running CP2000 (aka V4.1, SP1) on two Sun E250s, Ultra10 as management
station,
all running Solaris 7.
Loaded up my licenses successfully, but now getting the following error:

'Warning: Can't find ::ck-<cert key for enterprise license> in
cp.macro

Because of it, I can't push a policy out to the firewall module. What the
h***
is 'cp.macro' and what is it used for? BTW, I'm running the same setup on
another network and never got this error, no problem creating/installing
policies.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.

Dan
