Our logging takes place on an internal box so the idea of running a web
server on it is not that horrifying. You could have the web server do
a log switch and then process the switched out log at that point....
It could be a slow process...
Its an ugly solution ~ I wonder if anyone has tackled reading in the
live log? I would be interested in how it was done - if anyone has a
format spec I could whip out a perl mod to do it I am sure....

Subject: FW: [FW1] Log Viewer
Does anyone know if there is an easy way for the Log Viewer, or the log
at least
to be accessible to others.
I'm thinking of allowing helpdesk type people to view the log so they
can easily
diagnose simple problems.
I realise I could install the Log Viewer onto their systems with a Read
Only
account, but I was wondering if anyone knows of a way to make the
current log
available through a web browser.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciate
Cheers
Mike
