All, I run a regular (every 3 days) fw logswitch and then manually move the switched files out of the log directory into another directory for safekeeping. I have noticed, that some files keep growing (such as pingd which has now reached 450MB in size), and I was wondering if there was anything to stop me from manually deleting all the files in the directory and re-starting the FW ? I have a feeling that the log files are causing my system to give me netsod.exe Dr. watson's from time to time (CP as allways, has no idea what it is and all they can do is ask for more and more files.....sucking support). So... anyone oposed to deleting the files under LOG ?
