I have a similar problem which appears to only occur with ISO type CD images. On some
files the ftp terminates after a couple of megs, other files go till 500megs before
terminating. I have upgraded my firewall to version 4.0sp5 with no change.
I have posed the question on the list before, but no luck yet. And yes, ICMP is
enabled.

I'm having a problem with large file FTP transfers through our firewall,
that I'm hoping isn't an issue with CheckPoint FW-1 or if it is, there
is an easy solution for it.
If we either upload or download a large file that takes several minutes
to transfer, after the file transfers we're left without a response back
from the server we've connected to. (No prompt to transfer another file
or to even quit). It just looks like the connection times out.
Is this a setting in the firewall or are there issues at hand with the
FTP server itself.
Thanks,
