I have just upgraded a firewall module from a 4.0 SP2 version, to a
FW1 4.1 SP1 version. Everything seems to be OK, but there is a problem with
one rule using CVP resource for SMTP.
Outgoing mail from the internal network to the Internet is passing
through the firewall, directed to the SMTP Security server, using Esafe
antivirus software as a resource. If everything is clean, it is then sent to
the SMTP MTA Final destination.
Incoming mail is using another rule with the same properties (Esafe
and the FW1 Security Server), but when redirected from the Esafe Antivirus
host to the firewall, to pass through the firewall to the internal SMTP
server, i have a log with the message:
Access Denied
I don't understand, what is the problem ?
I use static NAT for the internal SMTP Server, but not for the Esafe
server. And everything was working well in the 4.0 SP2 version !!!
