OK... I have at least read about the product now... it appears the new 5.0
product will be a "kitchen sink" approach which in spite of their "Type
Enfocement", the more comlex a mechanism, the more likely one is to run into
problems.  Sidewinder seems to have this "brand new product but been around
forever" feel that kind of puzzles me... 5.0 is may be even more buzzword
compliant than FW-1, but how big is it's install base?  Does the USAF still
use it?  v.4.x seems to get a real pounding from Network Computing, but they
really like what they see in 5.0.  It seems to be at least as expensive as
FW-1 so obviously Secure Computing thinks highly of this particular
solution...
