When u install the FW for the 1st time, it will give the error bcos by
default there is no policy in the fw. All u have to do is to connect to the
fw thru u gui editor, create a policy and it will get installed. After this,
u can do an fwstop/start, u should not get the above error. PS: u can fwui
to configure the fw thru solaris itself. u dont need a motif lic for fwui.

Do an FW stop, then rename (don't delete) the file
$FWDIR/state/links.C and restart the firewall. I've done this on
