I know this question has been asked several times, but I will ask again.

We currently have a checkpoint FW-1 4.0 running on Solaris 2.6 on Sun
Enterprise II server.
The server have 5 network interfaces and they are all used.
We are planning to apply a high availability solution (either rainwall or
stonebeat) and also upgrade the firewall hardware.
Our firewalls need to be able to support traffic up to 40 to 50 Mb (maybe up
to 100mb). The system will be doing many NAT and static routings
Does it matter which platform we use? Sun has been stable and I do not have
experience running the software on NT platform.
I am familiar with NT, but if we decide to use NT, I want to make sure we
can get same stability we get from Sun.

any comment will be greatly appreciated.

thank you,

taeko
