I have (again) a FW-1 v4.0 build 4031. It's been working for a year with few
problems (see Solaris NAT for my previous problem, PLEASE!) In any case, it was
booted last night for the first time in quite a while, and it now won't let me
generate rules, with a "No 'filter' license" error. The licenses are still all
there (STDMEDIA100, CA, ENCRYPTION, MOTIF, SRSUPER, VPN) and I have never run
into anything like this before. Because of my lamentable situation with
Checkpoint, I am unable to turn that direction. Has anyone seen this before?
The firewall is now in desperate straights without being able to add/change the
rulebase...
Thanks,
Marc Lueck
