Well, things like Napster are simply blocked at the FW-1. Someone can be a
very bad guy by simply using allowed protocol like HTTP (using radio or any
other bw consuming application).
Things would be so much simpler if Bandwidth was at a reasonable price in
Europe.

You might also want to look at a product like Packeteer to limit bandwidth
usage at the application level, rather than the user level. That way, you
could allocate 1% to Napster, Gnutella, etc. and the rest to business apps.
Beats trying to figure out who the bad guy is this week... of course it's
not exactly cheap.

With a FW-1 + Floodgate1.5:
Can I set the bandwidth per user with authentication to a NT Domain ?
Let say for example that users of group "mp3 jerks" are limited to 14.4
Kbits/sec.

Currently, when someone doesn't respect the company policies, I have to
limit the bw using his or her IP address. Well, this works but it's far from
being convenient.

Any help appreciated ;-)
