**Disadvantage: Your firewall must be a member of
your NT domain.
In my
estimation, this problem alone is enough to convince me not to ever use
it. However, if the security policy at your company deems that an
acceptable risk, it is a nice way to reduce the number of passwords a user has
to type. HOWEVER, this is what RADIUS was developed for - you can use
RADIUS and still keep the firewall "hardened."
