The FW1 version of Mimesweeper was a "lite" version anyhow. No great loss

This makes sense, I've worked on a implementation that did not intergrate
the two products very well, losts of buts within CKP(4.0)'s CVP Features
with MimeS. We ended up using the MimeS was a stand-a-lone(using mx)
component not intermingled with the fw.

I heard that MS is no longer supporting their product to work with FW.
You'll
have to load it directly on your e-mail server or other dedicated machine
to
work with your SMTP gateway...

I just got told some interesting info
I was trying to locate a copy of mimesweeper for firewall 1 via my
supplier.
She told me that this version of mimesweeper is withdrawn because
checkpoint
firewall 1 is now end of life.
That means (I think) that mimesweeper for FW1 is withdrawn because fw1 is
no
more.
I have got her to recheck, but she is certain of the info.
