When setting up the SMTP Security server in CPFW-1 4.0 sp. 5 on Solaris 2.6,
Do you point incoming mail to the Firewall on your Resource rule or the SMTP
server. The reason I ask is because in my log viewer there are Mail messages
that are being dropped due to our stealth rule in the rulebase. Its almost
like the firewall is seeing some of these Mail as attacks on it and it is
dropping the packet. Our current rule looks like the following:

ANY --->     FW-1 --->      SMTP->Resource  --->    Accept  ---> Account

Most of our Mail gets through to the gateway, however there is a small
percentage, I'd say one out of ever 14 messages are dropped due to the
stealth rule. My support states that the resource rule should point to the
SMTP Server but all of the documentation that I have looked at states to
point it to the firewall. Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this is
happening?

Thanks
