>From a quick read, it appears that fw-1 'knows' based on the
server type defined(manage->network obj->new->logical svr.)
>From here choose server's type and the balanced method.
You might want to check the properties page connect
control tab and choose a port for which the load
emasuring agent communicates.
I found a reference in the manual(pg 582) to 'lhttpd', which
I only found a link in $FWDIR/bin for 'in.lhttpd -> fw'.
