Title: RE: [FW1] WARNING: Virus sent to the list and how to stop all attachments!! !

For Trend user:

Current Pattern File: 732
Current VSAPI Scan Engine: VSAPI 5.17

Because of the new STAGES.A and SHS_STAGES.A viruses, the 5.17 Scan Engine
is required, as well as the 732 Pattern file, for complete protection against
this threat.

If you are using ServerProect 5.1 or above, ScanMail for Exchange 3, OfficeScan 3.5
or above and/or PC-cillin 6.07 or above, please use the Update portion of the program
to update the Pattern and Scan Engine.

If you are not using one of the above mentioned products, please see our page at;
http://www.antivirus.com/download/engines/
For Scan Engine download and instalation instructions.

And for files attachment removal, eManage from trend is doing a great job at it. It can also stop spamming, junk mail.

Without making any publicity, I sleep better now for 2 weeks knowing eManager is doing is job and a great job it does.

<slightly off topic>
I was just about to purchase the trend product(now I'm not so sure).  Is
there a product out there that will remove all attachments from email.  I
know this seems a bit drastic, but my boss wants me to find one.  If someone
really needs the attachment, then I was hoping the product would allow me to
find it in some repository and send it on to the user.
Anyone heard of this???
