If you have StoneBeat 3.1 you don't use multicast MACs...those are for
FullCluster 1.0.  For 3.1 you configure both machines to use the same unicast
MAC...usually the secondary is set to take the same MAC address of the primary.
And usually the secondary is in a standby state until something happens to the
primary, when it will then bring up the interfaces and take over connections.
The switch shouldn't be confused by it at that point.

For multicast, you unfortunately have to explain to some switches what multicast
is, as some vendors don't support the multicast standards correctly.
