I have a strange problem with FW1 logging...
Whenever I install a security policy the logging seems to revert from "Long" to "Short" Mode for all entries bar the "ENCRYPTED"... ie the only info given for all unencrypted lines is "NO." upto "ACTION".... "SERVICE" etc is not shown.
To resolve this I have to stop and restart the Firewall service!! The logging reverts back to "LONG"
This is proving to be a pain..... a BIG pain.....
Anyone got any thoughts on this or come across it themselves.
The Machine is NT4 SP5 with FW1 SP5
