I have read Nokia resolution #1502 as I want to change the default port number
that the Firewall listens for http proxy requests on.
It says that a change is required to fwauthd.conf to work... for example (plus
obviously the appropriate rules:-)
80 in.ahttpd wait 0
1234 in.ahttpd wait 0
I have manually edited this file and stopped and started the Firewall daemon but
the Firewall stops proxying altogether until I restore the file from a backup
copy.
I think this is related to the text editor and format used when modifying the
file.
Am I interpreting the resolution correctly, i.e. can you manually edit the file
in question and if so can anyone recommend a text editor to use that works?
