I have run into a strange problem using static NAT on a few Internal/Dmz
devises on my network. It appears that the devices that have NAT applied to
them can not see themselves, however all other devices both internal and
external can see them. From any station in my network or on the Internet I
can ping the external IP address that I have created, but from the devices
themselves I get a request times out back. The NATed devices can ping all
other devices both internal and externally. The Firewall is version 4.1
running on an NT 4.0 server with service patch 6a. I am fairly new to
working with Checkpoint, so any help would be greatly appreciated.
