Hi,
we're changing ISP's for one of our Internet gateways that has a FW-1 4.0
(running on Sun Solaris 2.6) firewall. Of course, we have to change the
external IP address on the firewall as part of the exercise. We've already
received a new license from Checkpoint for the new address, but I'm
wondering if anyone has a checklist of the steps we need to take to make
the change. I'm aware of simple changes like modifying the hosts and
hostname.interface files, default route, etc. but am wondering about any
FW-1 specific gotchas that there may be.
Thanks in advance,
Shawn Allin
