I purchased WebTrends but don't really find myself using it that much. I
guess the thing that disappointed me about it was that, unless I missed
something, those reports you see in the Demo are pretty much what you get in
the full version. You can't really write your own reports. You can add or
remove them in the larger report but you can't write your own. So basically
all you get with Web Trends is a bunch of canned reports.
I dump all my logs in an Oracle database and use Oracle's WebDB. WebDB is
just a web interface to an Oracle database and allows for complete
flexibility in how I report my data. I originally got both so I could do
the statistical stuff with WebTrends and the specific stuff with WebDB but
no one has asked for anything I can't do with WebDB so WebTrends just sits
doing nothing.
