Does anyone know if my firewall can handle NATing of SKIP packets from an internal user (private address) to the outside world? I wasn't sure if FW-1 knows enough about the SKIP protocol -- especially since it's a protocol with no port numbers? Somehow FW-1 must be able to handle NATing protocols without port numbers such as icmp, because we're doing it... but is it on a host-to-host basis? in that case is there a problem if two or more people from inside ping the same outside host at nearly the same time? (or similarly if two inside users set up a SKIP session with the same server?) Any help would be greatly appreciated! -- DH Sorry, I should have combined this with my previous question regarding statful inspection of SKIP, but I didn't think of it until I pressed send... ________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com ================================================================================ To unsubscribe from this mailing list, please see the instructions at http://www.checkpoint.com/services/mailing.html ================================================================================
