The /var/etc/rc.local file is an excellent place to have IPSO run things
at startup, although I realize that it is not suitable for what you are
doing.

However, I would like to let you know that /var/admin is a much better
place to keep your work, or even a subdirectory there. This is because you
have the ability to use Backup and Restore to backup the contents of your
home directory and I think that you would like to save your work.

I don't know of any technical reason why you should avoid /opt/sub-dir
at this point-in-time, but Nokia cannot guarantee that this will not change.

I *can* guarantee that your files will always be safe in /var/admin
