We just updated FW-1 from 4.0 to 4.1 SP1.
Now SecuRemote user can no longer perform topology updates, nor can they
add our site.
The users get the error message:
Error: The site is not licensed to perform the requested action.
In the FW-logs, nothing is reported at this point.
This behaviour is the same for SR 4.0 and 4.1 clients.
(For 4.0 clients I opened FW1 service. The 4.0 topo request generates an
'accept' log entry, nothing more.)
The only was to get our site added is to install SR with a predefined
userc.c file
In spite of this, the SW clients can still do encrypted sessions with the
firewall. So it cannot be a question of a missing license, I assume. It's
just the Topo update that fails.
The checkbox "Respond to Unauthenticated Topology Requests" in the
firewall's Desktop Security tab is checked. We use FWZ encryption.
What's going wrong here?
Thanks in advance
Harald Albers
