Check out www.phoneboy.com/fw1/faq/0001.html which describes debugging
this problem.

Also, see www.phoneboy.com/fw1/faq/0002.html to see how the licenses are
actually counted!

If you want to learn alot about FW1, check out the rest of Phoneboy's site
it is very informative!

Subject: [FW1] Event Log on NT

My recently implemented firewall is showing some interesting "funny
things"...

My WindowsNT Event Log (not FW-1 log) is showing some particular interesting

entries. Over the period of a 1 sec, my log will be filled with about 27
entries. This first of these - FW1 too many internal hosts detected (my
licence is for 25 users and I have 5 users (max) connected at the moment).
The next 26 messages state FW:,x.x.x.x where x.x.x.x is some IP external to
my firewall. It is interest that the first two messages are my ISP's
external DNS servers. The last message states FW1 Contact your firewall-1
reseller.

My firewall-1 log is showing nothing of the same.

Does anyone know whats going on ????
