I saw a problem like this once before.  It had to do with the fact that WINS
was running on the local network.  People would enter "website" instead of
"website.mydomain".  Since WINS by default on a Windows system resolves
before DNS, it would get the IP address but then display that IP address in
the browser's address line instead of the DNS name.  If the user put in
"website.mydomain" it displayed the URL.

This is a strange problem we have been having. In the address line of the
browser sometimes instead of a URL displayed, a TCP/IP address is displayed.
Normally this is not a problem but on some web sites it is.
