Here's some good info.

CheckPoint used to make you certified for sitting through the class. (ver
3.0b and lower). 

Now you get to take a test for each one. Fairly easy tests, right from the
book. Very little to do with hands-on or config.


In other words, one CAN be a Checkpoint configuration "expert" and not pass
the tests.
