More of a support thing. CHeckPoint like to license on the external side for
license tracking. I have heard of encryption issues with internal licensing.
I'm sure this is something that will happen soon. Checkpoint wants to better
control their software, something I can understand. If you are using Single
Gateway limited, you have to set the external interface.
I can imagine a day when you must be connected to the internet, so when your
the screen comes up for licensing, it must connect to a remote server to
complete the install, for license validation. This will only enrage current
admins even more.
