Run the gui manager on a Windows box (there's a native windows program for
it). port 259 is the authentication port and has nothing to do with the
gui manager. You should also forget telnet, and use either ssh or
openssh. Managing your firewall via telnet is like screaming the secret
password to get your friend to lower the ladder from the tree house for
you- yeah, your friend will hear you and let you in, but now everyone else
on the block knows the password too.
