Sorry telneting to the ESMTP security server will fail unless you are doing
an SMTP transfer. SI detects the small telnet packets, and will not allow
you to "hand jam" email commands in the typical fashion

Have yet to see anything on their web site

>From the V4.0 Architecture and Administration Guide page 109-110 the
only commands it supports are
RCPT
MAIL
HELO
QUIT
DATA
NOOP
HELP
RSET
VRFY

Find someone with V4 and telnet to port 25 on the firewall and issue
EHLO . If you get bad command then the answer is a real no.

What functionallity were u wanting?

cheers

Subject: [FW1] ESMTP in Firewall-1 4.0??

Hello,

I'm running firewall-1 3.0 and I need to secure my SMTP server but
FW1 3.0 doesn't support ESMTP and I need it. Anyone know if FW1 4.0
support
ESMTP?

Best Regards,
Alex...
