My colleagues are looking at NDS 8 with LDAP support for this very thing.
I'm certainly no expert on the subject but the info might get you started in the
right direction.

Is there a single-sign-on product for fw-1? That is, when a user has to
get through two or more firewalls, each with client or user
authentication, is there a way for them to authenticate just once? (And
of course, extending that to their Novell or unix login's would be a
bonus)
