We are starting to play with SecuRemote and just got it working. We have private
addresses in use on an internal network, and separate management and filter modules
running under v4 of FW-1. We set it up to use FWZ so we could use SecurID
authentication and can do topology downloads and then telnet, ping, ftp ... the
usual stuff to hosts inside. Now I'm off to work on the split DNS thing. However,
in the mean time, one of the folks I have helping in this tried to use PC Anywhere
to control his workstation (on the internal private network). It timed out even
when he tried to use just the IP address (remember I didn't start on the dns stuff
yet). Any suggestions?
