Hi Mr Poole,

Thanks for your answer.
Actually,  if IPsec can be  setup between cisco router and fw-1, i think for  us  it's the way to go.
Since our POPs are in deferent towns and spread  all the country over.  These POPs gain internet access through  satellite.

I don't think that securing remote management data and authentication data needs  a  full-fleged firewall  to be setup at each remote site.
Any new advice about this will be appreciate.

So,  is there any documentation or link available on how to setup IPSec between Firewall-1 server and Cisco router ?

Best regards,

Your best bet would be to setup IPsec between the fw-1 and the routers. I would also suggest setting up Internet links at all sites for cost savings and preservation of internet bandwidth. You may want to consider putting a full-fledged firewall at each remote site, if you are not confident of the Cisco Routers to protect each site.Thomas Poole

Subject: [FW1] Firewall-1 module
Everyone,
I have a firewall gateway and i need to send encrypted data to remote sites.  These encrypted data containts radius

authentication password.
On the remote sites, there is a cisco 2501 router and a switch.
I want to know if a checkpoint firewall-1 module can be installed on a router or a switch, so that an my data are sent through
a secured network. My aim is to setup a VPN to manage my remote POP with my firewall-1.
Any useful link will be apreciated.
Thanks ,
best regards
